About the band:
Warriors of sound based in Northumberland, England. Formed in November 2021, we play mostly original songs written by guitarist and singer Nick Allmark. The powerhouse rhythm section of Kevin Johnston on drums and Tim Skelton on bass deliver a full on sound sometimes drawing on influences from 70’s classic rock bands. The band have been featured regularly on rock radio programmes in the North East of England, Several internet radio stations and also Sun FM Rock in the Ukraine. With some stunning official music videos, the bands YouTube channel has now clocked up in excess of a million views.
The Longship have just released their eighth single “Shield Maiden of the Queen”, an epic story of a pagan queen gifting a magical sword to her chosen shield maiden.
